How does receipt scanning work?

Accepted Answer

Upload a photo or PDF of any service receipt. Our AI reads the shop name, date, mileage, services performed, parts, labor, fees, tax, and total. You review and approve every extraction before it is saved to your timeline.

Can I edit AI-extracted details?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every extracted receipt enters a pending review state. You can approve, edit, or discard the results. You can also re-run extraction later and compare versions side-by-side.

What file types can I upload?

You can upload JPG, PNG, HEIC, and PDF files. Original documents are stored securely in your document vault and linked to the matching timeline entry.

What is a Vehicle Passport?

A Vehicle Passport is a shareable link that presents your car's maintenance history. You control what is visible — choose to hide costs, vendor details, VIN, or specific documents. Links can also expire automatically.

Who can see my data?

Only you can see your full garage and vault by default. Shared links only reveal what you explicitly allow. We do not sell your data and we use row-level security so your records are isolated from other accounts.

How much does 1ownr cost?

1ownr Free covers 1 vehicle, up to 10 receipts and documents, and 1 Vehicle Passport link at no cost — it is not something you buy, it is the plan every account starts on, with no card required. Garage is $5 per month (or $49 per year) for up to 3 vehicles with unlimited documents and 5 passport links. Fleet is $15 per month (or $99 per year) for up to 5 vehicles with unlimited documents and 10 passport links. Extra passport links are $1.99 each on any plan. Free includes 1 Vehicle Passport link, Garage includes 5, and Fleet includes 10. Need more? Extra links are $1.99 each and can be purchased from your billing page. Unused links stay active as long as your subscription is current.

Can I share a single document instead of the whole passport?

Yes. You can share individual documents from your vault with a trusted email address and set read-only permissions. Recipients access the file through a secure link.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

You keep read access to your records. Some features, like creating new share links or uploading additional receipts, may be limited until you reactivate your subscription.
